  • Responsible for quality control / utility poles and cross arms inspection for major Brazilian Utility Companies;
  • Responsible for quality control / cross ties inspection for major Brazilian Railroads and Metro Companies ;
  • Responsible for pest control (termites and decay fungi) in large private and public buildings, including historical buildings and historical collection. Management of contracts with State and City Governments and also public agencies;
  • Management of important contracts with the two largest Utilities Companies in Brazil, CEMIG and Eletropaulo. In line inspection of transmission and distribution eucalypt treated poles in service – Two years in field project ;
  • Involvement with many research projects related to the development of processes and products for wood treatment;

  • Responsible for the consolidation of Arch/ Lonza’s brand and Tanalith®’s family brands in Brazil;
  • Responsible for the introduction of the first arsenic/chromium free formulation in Brazil - Sales interrupted for commercial reasons;
  • Decisive participation in feasibility studies and preparation of the business plan, including exploration of sources of raw materials, and the development of strategies that defined the installation of CCA plant in Brazil - 2016;
  • Decisive support in regulatory issues related to renewal or to register new formulations- Technical and Institutional support.

  • Idealizer and effective participant in the preparation of the "Use Category System" - Adapting from international standards;
  • Idealizer and effective participant in the preparation of the Brazilian Standard - NBR 16.143 – Wood Preservation - Use Category System;
  • Idealizer and effective participant in the elaboration of the QUALITRAT Self-Regulation Program for the Treated Wood Plants ;
  • Idealizer of the implementation of the Treated Eucalyptus Cross-Arms as a new product in the utility market - Launching in the XVII - SENDI and EXPOSENDI 2006 - Belo Horizonte-MG;
  • Idealizer and participant in the preparation of the Brazilian Standard NBR 16.201 – Round Treated Eucalyptus Cross-Arms for Distribution Lines ;
  • Active participation in the elaboration of the technical terms of Interministerial Act n° 292 and Normative Instruction n° 05;

  • Expert appointed by the justice in case of legal demands involving questions about the performance of treated wood;
  • Important intervention followed by the correspondent resolution related to the use of treated plywood for the manufacture of bus floors in the Polomex plant in Monterrey/ Mexico. Polomex is a Joint Venture between Marco Polo (Brazil) and Mercedes (Germany);
  • Responsible for organizing many events in Wood Protection , including national and international events;
  • 2001-2003 – Member of the Board of Directors of the Sao Paulo Pest Control Association - APRAG;
  • 2004 – Participation in the foundation of RIPMA - Red IberoAmericana of Protección de la Madera, San Sebastian - Spain;
